What's JMUN

Model United Nations (MUN) was first introduced into Japan by Ms. Sadako Ogata, a great contributor to the United Nations especially as a United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, in 1984. Ever since then, many students of prestigious high school and universities have been participating in the MUN activities. While many American universities have MUN as a class, Japanese universities only have clubs; the organization that unites most of the university-level MUN clubs is named Japan Model United Nations (JMUN).
